Captain Sim model size
«

Does anyone know if all the Captain Sim models are small? What I mean is, if you look at the screenshots below, you can tell that the CS C-130 is smaller than the 737, both in the menu and on the runway. A lot of freeware military fighters are small like that, as is the CS Space Shuttle. I wanted to buy the CS 727 Pro during their 24 hour sale tomorrow, but I don't want it to have a small model. Kev, you have the 727 - is it small? Does any of this make sense to anyone else?

Looks like you're zoomed out further (or the camera's lower) on each of the Captain Sim shots - look at where the runway hits the edge of the screenshot.

Actually, it
could
be a flaw in the model itself.

Hmm... I've reviewed their 727, 757, C-130 and have their BUFF (I think that's everything...) and I've never noticed a size issue. I have read posts specifically regarding the C-130 saying that it looks small simply because it's not huge (think An-225) in real life, and it's tough to make aircraft look 'big' in the sim.

You didn't mention the Shuttle, 767 and XLoad (FA-18 and F-117)
.

The 757 is "normal" size, and I think the XLoad F/A-18 and F-117 are too (from memory).
Are there any model developers out there (freeware or payware) that know more about this phenonomeon?

So we can assume that that is the main reason? I guess I could learn to live with it if I knew that the model itself was not at fault, but rather the view scale.
